Gratitude—Wednesday, July 1, 2015

It was 92* (33.33c) last night at 9:30.  But this morning it is only 86* at 9:30.

What a small joy cooling air is after too much heat.

Set-2As John Milton once said;  “Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing  us to encounter everyday epiphanies, those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life and the world.”

A few clouds, a small breeze, the song of the birds…a wee epiphany for this Wednesday.

Your friend,

Linda

  1. Here in Northern, CA it was 107 degrees today. A few more days and then lower temps. Thunder and lightning in the upcoming forecast. Our gratitude today was a huge plus. Came home from town and found out we had no water. Pump not working. Oh My! Called our wonderful pump company. An hour later we had a new module in the control box. Sigh, not the pump. We have water. Hooray. The shower feels mighty good when it is so hot. Besides worry about our garden. We are so thankful. Beautiful quote and pic.

  2. Oh my gosh, it’s been so hot here! In the triple digits! Made for getting the Bulls outta the cows easy! Ha! One ole boy got right in the trailer! His eyes lit up and he was like, heck yea!
Our pool has been a great relief at the end of the day! 😀

  3. We are drowning here. Can’t imagine your heat. Great quote. You would like the HerdyShepherd book The Shepherd’s Life. He cherishes the land and the farming and the people…the way you do.
