After two days of fun with her best friend, Ellie
All the things she got to do at the farm
We are packing up, to drive her to meet her Mom at Rifle, Colorado.
Half way for both of us. There we will unload our car and load up Misty’s van. Sadly, we must say good-bye for a spell.
Saying good-bye is never easy.
Your friend,
Linda
I’m glad you all had a nice visit. Good memories for all :-).

Oh, I do love the ATV photo–calendar worthy. Have you thought of postcards or something with some of your beautiful photos? Sad to say goodbye–looking forward to the next hello.

Several of you have suggested that I do something with these…I guess I’m hesitant because I just don’t know how to begin. I will have to really look into this

Blurb used to have calendar templates…a fun site to make cookbooks and stuff. I think C. at kitchensgarden made a calendar…perhaps she could get you started. http://www.blurb.com/bookmaking-tools

You are so blessed… I wanted children. Now I just wish that I was not forgotten by the children I did love with all my heart. When the subject comes up I always have stories about my Grandma and how much I learned from her and how much love she gave. You will never be forgotten Linda – you and Terry are beacons of light.

Glad you are not close to the bad water. I feel for those that are.
Yes, it is tough to send the Grand child home, but they will think of you both a lot. We see ours often, but during week not so much after school starts.. Sometimes I call of a morning while they are waiting on the bus. to tell them to have a good day. They have good parents,so we are like you grateful for that.
We keep having rain here every few days. Not a lot at a time, makes the corn and maize and soy beans look great. There is also cotton. We usually have 90 to 100 degrees now,but cool air came in from the north and is in the 70’s. Still time to be very hot before Oct. Take care sharon Drake

Aw, so sad to see your farm helper go. However, there are piggy ears that need scratching back in Craig!

Yes! And soon new piglets. She gets to sleep in the barn to watch them being born.
