Our pinto bean harvest has begun in earnest now. (Fingers crossed we don’t have rain…rain would NOT be a good thing right now!)
We took the truck over and then Terry came with the combine. It was an all day thing, with more all day sort of things until at least Friday or Saturday of this week. (We are small farmers)
We sell our bean to the Beanery.
If you see sack of Red Donkey pinto beans you will know [possibly] there are pinto beans from our farm in them.
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
Your beans are THE best!
Fingers crossed for no rain in your area!

I’m glad to see that the pinto bean harvest is under way. I have my fingers crossed that you will have dry weather until the harvest is complete — any rain should come this way instead. I’ve never seen Red Donkey pinto beans, but I’ll keep an eye out for them.

We will also take any rain you don’t need. We’ll do a non rain dance for you.

Someone brought us a bag of Pinto Beans from Colorado a few years ago, but I don’t remember the name of the bag they were in. They were good. Kim.

Let’s not and say we did…I would hate for either one of us to get in trouble. I’ll look in my seed catalogs and see if I can find them. Much, much better that way!
