It’s raining here….again. We were just about to dry out.
Our drive way is a river, our lane is a lake
But inside we are dry, the wood stove is going, my wood supply is protected, my kenneling is dry.
Your friend on a very soggy western side, of the Rocky Mountain Divide, farm

It’s raining here in Tennessee as well, but we need the rain and it is nice and gentle. I’m glad you’re warm and cozy in the house.

Rained a little overnight here. More to come they say, but we’ll see. In the mean time, the wood stove is going, the coffee is hot, and the wet leaves smell just wonderful!

It’s raining here too- the remnants of the hurricane. But it’s nothing like what you’re faced lately. Here’s hoping for some drier weather soon!

We got an extremely welcome 2 inches. We needed it so badly for the wheat. Now we need a few dry days to finish Milo…….farming is a crazy occupation. 😊

excuse me, but Ugh. I can get so tired of rain…even if I know it’s one of Nature’s great gifts. Sometimes, it’s just a bit too much.

The sun came out and Boomer and I went out and danced on the lawn. It’s too wet to walk on the roads!

Wouldn’t it be great if we could parcel up some of the wet weather people don’t want, and bring it down here where it’s so badly needed. Celi had floods earlier this year, and I sat glumly reading about it while outside my backyard turned brown and crispy. It’s still crispy, but now the danger is fire on the ranges…

Goodness, you do look soggy!! I would love having a wood stove going in the chilly, rainy weather! We are to get chances of more rain this Thursday thru Saturday! After 2.3″ last week. Do need some dry days, but will take the moisture as well.
Blessings!

Its ok if it rains now – all your hay is in, the crops are in, time to sit by the fire!
