A Small Frozen Fog—Tuesday, October 27, 20015

morning-fog-2.jpgWe had a wee fog this morning, caused by very cold temperatures from the very wet ground (the sun came out yesterday afternoon…Boomer and I went out and danced on the lawn, it was too wet to take a walk. 🙂  )

Moon-2And the very lovely clear sky and the warmer canal water.

Morning-Fog-1I’m wondering if we had a freeze.  It is possible.

Morning-Fog-3The grass was rather crunchy when I walk out to get some early photos…as the day warms up I will be able to tell.

It’s time.  Actually, a little late.  But that is okay, I’ve enjoyed the warmth while it lasted. 🙂

As always your friend,

Linda

  1. I hope this climatic change isn’t detrimental to the corn harvest?
We in the Brisbane area were expecting a “cell” storm to hit yesterday,
but it missed Brisbane and the outer suburbs but caused terrible destruction
in small towns just west of Brisbane. Many buildings lost their roofs.
Anyhow it brought welcome light overnight steady light rain, so the
gardening fraternity in Brisbane will be very happy.
Now 7.45 am (Wednesday) and the clouds are breaking up so maybe
    a fine day.
    Cheers
    Colin

  2. Weather this time of year can fool you around here and I guess on the Colorado farm too. I played out n the yard att our daughters this afternoon in the warm sunshine, and then suddenly as the sun went down I was shivering … My toes still haven’t warmed up.
