I have always, always wanted a water feature. So I have finally created one!
It is all put together from found items here on the farm—including the rocks!
I’ve order my pond plants. After I get them planted I will show you how it looks! I’m really excited! Such a fun little project!
Your friend always,
Linda
You have rocks in Colorado? Shoot – I thought we had all of them here in Arkansas!

So pretty! It looks like she’s watering her garden with the fairy version of a hose! Is that jet of water falling back into the tub? It seems like it might be just missing – her aim is maybe a tad off? Love the rocks; a water feature can never have too many rocks!

She is hitting the rocks. I’m wondering about fish now.

And I’m wondering about herons… Anytime I’ve ever had fish in a little pond the pointy-billed menaces always polished off the lot.
Also, it’s hard to tell how big the tub is, but in the summer’s heat, the water may get too warm for fish. You might have to shade it at the hottest part of the day.

I’m still toying with idea…I have a thought that the cat might eat the fish…not a good thing.

Now that’s a really fun idea, Linda. I can’t wait to see it when you get your pond plants planted! It’s going to be really neat!!!

Fun for sure … And I didn’t even have to do any work! (Tho it did bring memories of one we put in in our yard in Oregon … (In our other life). That was work, but fun! ). I love the garden angel in this post and in your header shot.
