Sadly our time with Bladen is ending.
Coming back from training for School Principals in Snowmass, Colorado.
I’m not complaining. Just sad. The time went so fast.
Still I’m so very grateful for the time we have had.
He said it’s been great. He got together with all his friends from Delta. Every last one of them.
His family is moving closer to us…Kelly will be the Middle School Principal at Parachute, Colorado next year. Blade says that is only one hour and 22 minutes away.
I’ll take anything that gets them closer. Blade says he agrees!
Love,
Linda

The flowers are gorgeous! But nothing is better than hearing your family wants to be closer. Priceless!

Hopefully you will be able to see Bladen and the other grandchildren more often once they move closer.

Home would be the best the grand kids and I agree, but if not home…then closer!

I’m happy for you that they will be closer. I remember every time we had to say goodbye to my grandparents, I cried and cried. It was horribly sad to let them go. We we’re 8 and a half hours away by car. A day’s drive. It was always hard.

I cried when we left my grandparents also and they were fairly close. I’m glad to know I wasn’t the only one!

Shakespeare had it right: “Parting is such sweet sorrow”. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous roses. I can almost smell them from here…

Oh yea! Parachute is SO much closer ~ especially on winter roads!
OMG ~ your rose are just beautiful! Your yard must be full of hummers, bees and blossoms and full of a scent you can follow from a far. Where is the { love } button!?!
