my-hand-work-001

The sunsets so very early now, that the time change has occurred; making the days very short and the nights ever so long.

my-hand-work-002So for something to do, while watching TV I try my hand at different types of handiwork.

Don’t look too closely as there are errors.

It does fill my time nicely, though.

Your friend,

Linda

  1. Oh my goodness, they are lovely!! You have so many talents! Yes, the days are shorter, but I do like getting up to daylight in the mornings for a while.

    Blessings!

  3. Beautiful work!!! As for any errors, take the Zen approach, there is no such thing as perfect, errors, mistakes etc. just mean that it was crafted by a fallible human being and if you can’t find the mistakes it just means that they don’t matter in the least. Love the lady with the hat especially. A very Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!!!

  4. dear Linda, Oh I love that first pic of the lady with the very fancy hat. How lovely! The pansies are nice too. I am having a hard time getting used to these dark days too. I will be glad when we get to ground hog day, because then we’re heading the other direction again as far as daylight is concerned. I’m surprised I’m not seeing snow on your ground. We have it along with ice right now and more coming this Tues and Wed…..we will have to wait until Thanksgiving day to travel the 4 hours to our daughters house to celebrate. Hopefully then the roads will be better! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

  5. Beautiful work! And as for any mistakes, a long time ago a very wise woman told me that mistakes in our crafts just make them individual and unique. Have always tried to remember that in what ever I try my hand at. But, your beautiful work is way too tedious for my eyes or skill.

I try to remember that when trying my hand at a craft. But would never be able to do what you do! My glasses aren’t strong enough and not sure I would have the patience.
