We are still working on the remodel down at the other house. It used to be a coal room and a furnace room, on one side; a rather poor fruit room on the other side. We thought it would be a nice addition to the house to have those two rooms become one room.
We now have the ceiling up!
New insulation and finishing up the walls.
Every day we get a little more done!
Sure is a nice feeling!
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
I am intrigued by your presents under that lovely tree. Are you really going to be able to resist them until Christmas?

Oh, yes! They are my gifts to the grandchildren. But I can hardly wait to GIVE them the gifts!

Makes me so happy to see you guys doing this stuff. My dad was a great builder. He was a professor by trade, but if we needed to close in a garage or add a sunroom or build cabinets, or make a coffee table, he had the will, the know-how and the tools to do it. Go Linda and Terry!!

It’s always so gratifying to take something old and make it much more useable. We got all the outside walls insulated and wood hung today. Sure warmed everything up!

Well, for once i can say I’ve done the same kind of work as you … of course when we remodeled (many times) we hadn’t recently spent all summer and fall harvesting and planting and watering etc etc etc.. s you guys are the hardest workers! Combining the two rooms is a great idea.

We do! I hate the over the head stuff—but the ceiling is done, the walls are up…now for the plumbing and the floor!

Wow! That’s a great winter project and I know you are going to enjoy it when it’s all done. Enjoying the process is fun too. My tree is standing, just not lit or decorated. Maybe today. Your tree is inspiring me. Anxious to see the finished and stages of completion of this project. You are lucky to have a man who wants to do those things.

I bet Terry will be glad when he gets the ceiling done and he doesn’t have to crane his neck.
