It’s terribly cold here. (Cold is relative I know, but for us 4* at Nine in the morning was terribly cold)
So Min-Min Lou was asked if she would enjoy spending her time in the house.
She told us she thought this would be a very good idea.
Therefore, we now have an indoor/outdoor cat.
I told her she can come and go as she pleases! She thought that was a VERY good thing.
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
Conversations with cats are always quick and to the point, and tend to end in the cat’s best interests. Well don, Min Min Lou!

She was very concerned about the ceiling fan…I had to turn the big predatory bird in the house off so she could relax.

As long as she can be close to Terry she is very content. I’m hoping with time she will feel comfortable anywhere in the house.

We have two old pensioners left that live in the barn…they come and look for a handout at the house but won’t even consider moving out of their bachelor digs.

I wondered about her, but she saw Terry and headed right to the sofa to be next to him!

We tried to keep our cat a house cat but she told us that cats must come and go as they pleased.

That is too cold for cats or people, in my opinion. My daughter told me that she has cat and dog in the house because of the terrible ice storms in Oregon — there is a cat door, but she said the cat took one step outdoors and two back in very quickly.

I think she made herself at home. It must have really felt good being in a nice warm house. We have had in the 80’s here in Florida, really too hot for Dec. It will cause fruit trees and crops to bloom out and then cold weather will cause the blooms to drop off.

Fruit is always such a terrible worry. I hope they don’t get harmed!!! Merry Christmas, Ellie!

How nice of you to let that kitty indoors in such cold weather. I know what you mean about cold…..its been 12 below here. What a pretty cat…her markings remind me of the coat of an ocelot! Maybe shes more exotic than you know! Merry Christmas to you and your whole family, Linda. and Peace in the New Year!

I will. She has a hard time staying in, but is gradually learning to like it—if Terry is present.

Some cats are so personable that they simply must be adopted into the house. Min Min Lou appears to have the right characteristics.
