beautiful sight. we’re too wet here, and will be for another day, and then it’s going to get cold again for the weekend and maybe snow. my forsythia started blooming feb. 25, many weeks too early, and it’s kept coming and going since, so i won’t ever have a full-blooming forsythia this year. luckily, i have a lot of frost cloths, so i can cover the emerging perennials when we go back down into the teens this weekend, but i fear for the early magnolias and hope the fruit trees hang tight. we have several large orchards in this area. –suz in ohio

The best kind of snow then; arrives, looks pretty, and leaves without making a mess.
