Work Interrupted —- Thursday, June 22, 2017

After coming home from getting the last tire fixed.  Terry said:  “Call Cottonwood Hot Springs, get a reservation — and lets go there for the night.”

So I called…they had an opening.  Terry turned off the irrigation water.
 Shannon agreed to take care of the cats and to take Boomer home with her to spend the night.

One afternoon, one night; then back home again.  A break from work!  How freshing it was!

  5. D > Oh I bet it was, too! I could do with a bit of pampering. Actually we both could. Today is that watershed birthday for J, so we’re off out this evening for a very straightforward luxury: a meal cooked by someone else – which if I’m honest is more a treat for me than for J – but for goodness sake don’t tell him!

  8. Good for you guys! A break in your work. Looks like you really enjoyed it too. What a nice and fun idea! Hope your hubby is getting back to normal after his surprise surgery not that long ago. You are sure two hard workers. Hope things continue to go well for you this growing season! Thanks for a great blog!
