We’re half way through our first cutting after lots of rain delays but we’ll still have time for some second meadow cutting that will be square bales for the bulls and emergency weather conditions. Have a great 4th!!!

Looks great Linda. The smell of freshly mowed alfalfa is wonderful and your
weather shot with Terry on the harvester, I envy.
Winter is coming here with a blast…..which I am NOT use to or AMUSED – ha ha!
I am rugged up like an Eskimo !!!!
Cheers and all the best with the hay “income”.

It’s heaven on earth! That and rain after a long dry spell, or when the irrigation water hits the furrow for the first time in the growing season. All so wonderful and hard to describe!
I love the smell of fresh cut alfalfa.

I don’t think there is a sweeter smell than newly-mowed hay.

Few know the fantastic aroma of fresh cut hay and what they are missing they will never know. I can almost smell it in the pictures.
