“Don’t believe in miracles—depend on them.”–Laurence J. Peter
It was warmer yesterday. A lovely touch of sunlight, soft breezes and sunlit farm light
(that is a Gambols Quail coming toward me.)
We are still having tiny little hummingbirds visiting the feeder.
Sometimes I see only one, some days none at all…
Then just before the big cold rain I saw six. My heart goes out to them, traveling so late in the year. I hope they make it somewhere warm soon.
Then while out on a wee walk with Boomer and Mindy the cat…I found
A heart! A perfect sort of magic!
From my world to your heart,
Linda
Your garden is quite a wonderland.

It’s so much work, I sometimes wonder if I want to keep up the work.

I’m glad you had a beautiful day to enjoy. I hope you have many more, at least until the last bean field is harvested.

We still have hummingbirds, too, and I share your concern. But I hope they know what they are doing!

I think they are gone now…at least I hope so. It’s very very cold here for them. Still I will leave up the feeders until the end of this week and watch….just incase.
