We woke to fog Friday morning. Fog always and forever will remind me of my mother.
For you see, Fog is a rare occurrence here. Happening rarely but with stunning results
A coolness descends on the land; sounds are magnified.
Momma would always say: ‘Look, kids! A cloud has sat down on the land”.
I often go out walking in the fog…just because, I’m walking in a cloud, which sat down for me to enjoy.
From my world to your heart,
Linda
What a wonderful way to think about fog.

It cold and windy here. But the fire in the wood stove is delightful!

We had about 5” where I live on the front range. So happy to get the moisture.

And snow? It looks like there might have been snow over there in places.

It is hard for me to like fog, we get a lot of it, but I will try to remember your mother.

What a sweet memory. I love the fog unless I have to drive in it. 😉

I don’t think I would like driving in it either.

Before my Pa relocated to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, he lived in Montara, in San Mateo County. It was supposed to be the Fog Capitol of the World.

We had fog today, didn’t quite notice till this afternoon when I looked up and found the cranes on the various building sites afflicting the town centre, with their tops vanishing into the grey mists of time!

Love the grey mists! England has lots of fog I hear.

It does though down here we don’t get afflicted too often. The north suffers more!
