Brief Cheers! — Sunday, November 11, 2018

Finally, after staying steady and ‘keeping after it’

I got the leaves off the yard!

Although I thought the leaf covered lawn was rather pretty, the lack of leaves is much more appealing.

SMILING BIG HERE!!  🙂

  1. deeeependz: I look out the window, see one tree in the field below w/NO leaves in/on it — another perhaps 70′ away still looks like ALL the leaves yet to fall. I dunno if i’m half done or what… see that delta sometimes is state’s high temp !

  2. Goodness! One of my most esteemed colleagues who I did my internship with in 1988 was from Altoona in Pennsylvania. He missed the autumn foliage there enough to take a few barrels of sweetgum and maple leaves home to spread out on the front lawn of the apartment building he lived in at the time. There were only (evergreen) Southern magnolias out there. The gardeners were baffled.
