NO! It happened in San Jose in 1976 and it was an unexpected mess. I can not imagine it now, with more than a million people who do not know what to make of it. When it snows at my home near the summit, I can not complain because it happens there naturally. It is not so bad because there are not many others up there.

We had a short, sharp thunderstorm last night, 3 hours of good rain, but I’m terribly afraid the water came at a cost; there was such a lot of lightning and I’m waiting to hear if it started more fires…

I see you posted 3:30 (but I think that’s WerdPressCentral time, i’ll check to see WHEN this is posted! — 4:30-some (PM) Delta/GJ time) –> it was snowing up ’til a couple hours back. ground is covered, so, that’s first time for us this season. as you also can see (what with your SanJuan view!) the Mesa is covered. good snowpack news ~

We here in the high desert of Oregon got a couple of inches day before yesterday and last night it was 2 degrees F! Magic crystals reflected in moonlight. We need a lot more, like you do.
