The air warmed up yesterday
Our world turned into mud
But this morning, as I write to you, there are huge fat fluffy flakes of snow filling in those paces whereby the melt had once occurred.
Delicate and soft like little tiny clouds drifting down to the earth.
Treasure each moment in your heart-each second is a true miracle.
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
That looks beautiful, have a great new year.

Happy New Year to everybody at your house (2 and 4-footed) and to your family!! That header shot of the sandhill cranes is so wonderful, I almost forgot to scroll down to where I could actually comment!~ I like looking at the winter too, but hope it stays warm enough for you to wear those shorts at least on most days ;>)

The funny thing is that I so want to eventually experience real snow. I experienced a little bit of it in Oklahoma, but was not impressed after it did not melt for many days. I so want to see what a real snowstorm is like . . . and the come home.

Sometimes they don’t melt for weeks on end.

Well, I could experience it, and then be on a train before it ‘doesn’t’ melt.
