Today I am 70…I have seen a decided change in my physical appearance these last few months

A surprise when I actually “LOOK” at myself and not just glance or see one thing, like what is my hair doing.

I suppose I am now elderly…but my mind, my heart, and my soul doesn’t seem to realize it

I still feel young.

Although, there is a slowing down I didn’t seem to have this summer.

But everything is all good…I am glad to be alive, in good health.

My word I have chosen for this year is Magic…and, for certain and sure…being 70 is a very nice form of magic.

  1. HAPPY 70th BIRTHDAY, LINDA!!!! Congratulations on another year of experience and wisdom. Yes, there are changes and a slowing down so you take more time to really enjoy the rest of the ride. I was 70 in Sept and grateful for every minute, just as you are. It’s astonishing, isn’t it, to get to 70 when we feel so young? 😉 Have a wonderfilled day. You have so much beauty around you that it must be hard to miss any of it.

  7. Happy Birthday Dear Linda! I am just short of a decade older and I still don’t feel “old” (tho the mirror does say opposite)….heck, we have grandkids who are now of the age that I feel on my good days (mid 30s). Happy Day, Happy Year, Happy Everything)!

  8. Age is relative to life. We slow to some degree as the body begins to tell us?? “What?” “How is that?”
    Laugh, love the family, and be HAPPY where you are and enjoy life on the farm.

  24. Happy Birthday, things do change, but I am 76 and like you still feel young and like I can do most things I want to. I firmly believe that our being active is what helps us stay young. And you are very active. I do enjoy reading your blogs, all your adventures and animals. Have a great new Year.

  25. Happy Birthday dear Linda! I am 71….so about a year and two months ahead of you in life’s timeline I guess. I never felt old until I hit good ole 70. Now I guess I can officially say I am old, although I don’t really feel much different. To me, 70 just sounds old. But I am honored and grateful to still be around, as long as the good Lord allows. So let’s celebrate being 70!!!! or 71. Hope you’ve had a terrific day.
