Although the mist makes the air seem soft
And the light on the rain clouds make the dawn special
Last evening, as the sun set through the rain clouds I had to marvel….there it was — a perfect rainstorm occurring on the Uncompahgre Plateau, shimmering and glistening for all to see!
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
Your sunset photo is absolutely gorgeous. I know you’re eager for the ground to dry, but I’m glad you’re getting some more moisture this Spring.

Thank you, George. The only real problem with everything is the farmer’s need to get into the fields….everything is three weeks behind now and it doesn’t look like it’s going to change anytime soon.

Your world looks as waterlogged as ours.

It’s rather bad, the farmers are three weeks late getting into the fields and it doesn’t look like they will be anytime soon.

We are water logged, too, under the snow. Rest of the week looks clear…you get the weather after we do. The Redwing Blackbirds came back today. Still 2 ft of snow on the ground, though.

Rain here for two more days then sun for 6 days and rain again. I’m glad your Redwings are back! SO exciting
