The Home of the God(s)—Your, Mine and Ours—Thursday, August 15, 2019

(From Pinterest)

It’s lovely right now.  A perfect time of year.

During the day the air warms up; after a very cool night.

The sky so lovely, ever so lovely, with huge clouds sailing, and heaped here and there.

But what is the most lovely of lovelies; making me catch my breath

Is the full moon rising; peaking through the tassels of the corn

On a sweet warm night

More beautiful by far than the wingspan of an angel.

Utterly Charming!

From my world to your heart,

Linda

  1. I think you live in a little piece of heaven!! All your beautiful flowers, clouds and the gorgeous moon! The cotton plants here are blooming nicely with the promise of a good crop. Another of my renters has planted all corn, so we shall see how well it does. I know it’s good to rotate crops, but it’s a bit scary.

    Blessings!

  2. Love the quote and so true. I am also savoring the sky and all that is around me. Sat on the front porch this morning writing my morning pages. It was 55 degrees and so peaceful. Everyone here still asleep. Have a miraculous Sunday, Linda. Every day is a miracle.
