We have been having wind….lots and lots of wind
Which always makes the earth seem slightly used
It hisses through everything; stretching the earth into a dust storm of wonder
We have a strong need for rain.
(Beaglie ears flying in the wind)
But not until all the pinto beans, the onions, and the hemp are all harvested. Until then we just live in gratitude for dry weather so those farmers still trying to get crops harvested can.

Such a happy Moon face in that first picture. I always love that…wind OK. As long as there’s no fire. There are 2 (or more) famous winds here, all with spectacular old names based on their direction. The 2 that effect us the most are the Scirocco and the Föhn (also, “favonio”). The first is a hot wind from North Africa. The second, I believe, comes from the Alps. Italians claim that the winds set them on edge, causing headache and nervousness. Do you feel different when there’s lots of wind?

No. I love the wind, the dust not so much. Momma would get nervous and head-achy so she dreaded the wind.

I had to smile when I saw your picture of Boomer. I hope the rain will come here until the harvests are done in your part of the world.

Wind is my least favorite weather. It makes the whole world unstable.

Go Boomer!
We finally got some rain…a good, slow one. We were so dry. We need more.
The Earth is definitely slightly used. Heh. Bless her…
