Boomer and I have been helping Mom
We help her in front of the house. Boomer sniffs for smells I look for mice.
I even look for mice when I am NOT helping Mom. 😊
Last night Mom, Boomer, and I went for a small walk. It was just the perfect amount for a very old, crippled beagle, but I (I) could have walked more! Much more.
But Mom says not a long way, we have to think of Boomer and his sorta, kinda, healing knee.
So, we went a sorta short way;
Mom took photos of the cloud-covered moon,
Boomer and I waited patiently.
This morning Mom came looking for me.
I was hidden in plain sight. I sat there for a long time, waiting for Mom to see me.
It took her forEVER, but finally, she did.
When Mom called me, I pretended I didn’t hear her.
That’s what cats do… pretend to not listen.
I even yawn, so she would know I wasn’t paying her any attention.
Then Mom turned around, just left me there.
WHAT!?!?!
WAIT UP, MOM! I WANT BREAKFAST!
I jumped up and ran after Mom, even beating her in the house.
Yummy.
Breakfast time is the best.

I sometimes ignore my mommy, too…until I hear the food bag or the treat bottle or the can lid.

Those Moon shots of yours are cool. The last one looks like a painting. How cool…

It’s that rattle of the Treat box that gets me every time. So Mom tricks me to come in. This time the trick lead to BREAKFAST! Mindy
