One of the most painful moments in a person’s life probably comes with the insight that an age has been reached when there is more to look back on than ahead. A Man Called Ove, by Fredrik Backman
The snow came and left. Watering the dry earth. It was nice. I am also glad it is gone.
Here we go…heading into another year.
Good-bye 2020. Thank you for everything, all the good, the lovely, and even the ugly.
Hang on world…here comes 2021!

I’ve read everything he wrote. The best one is Ove and then the two about Brit Marie. Happy New Year, Connie!

You know Linda, I realized exactly what you’re talking about, a while back. I have been so enjoying some of my younger friends having babies and watching them grow and then realizing I won’t be around to see what they become or who they marry, or children they’ll have. I won’t be here long enough for those things. Well, maybe I’ll catch a glimpse from up above now and then! Our lives are short, we must just make the best of them that we can. Happy New Year to you and Terry!

I know. Our lives are very short, really. It doesn’t seem so when we are younger, but after 50 a person starts to realize time flies very fast. Then when you get to the 70s. You realize how short time really is. Happy New Year, Diane.
