Today I am 72 years of age.
Seventy-two! What a gift!
Seventy-two years— hovering around me; my memories full of all those marvelous people who have filled my life — throughout my long years of living.
The cartwheeling joy of each and every day
Full of purring sounds of birds and everything which lives—compact, Specific on our farm.
72 years of constant, warm, space, my life,
In a pattern of scattering notes; creating, in the end, a melody called my life.
What a joy.
Happy Day of my birth.

Happy Birthday Linda! I turned 70 on Christmas Day!! Yesterday we were young and starting our families. My Dad always said, “Enjoy your kids now, as before you know it, they will be grown up and gone”. How right our parents were. I hope you have happy plans for your special day. Even a walk on your beautiful farm after dark, would be great. Celebrate!

Happy Birthday Linda! Did you do anything special? Eat your favorite food? I turned 73 last November. Every time I have a birthday now, I am very amazed and thankful to God for allowing me to be around. For some reason I never thought that I’d hit 70! So many memories! Enjoy your special day and know how much we appreciate your blog and all the work it is to put it out each day. May your next year be downright awesome!
