We ended up with another 13 inches of snow on top of the already down 16 inches from the earlier storm. Too much for me and it’s been bitter cold for days. We have a forecast for warmer weather over the weekend and coming week. It would be nice if it would thaw enough that I can get down the hill and back up again.
Even with a slow, steady thaw, it almost always floods below the hill. The city sewers just can’t handle the volume of water. Does the same thing when we get a good rain.
All the birds around here are fluffed up as well. They (and I) are ready for some warmer weather!

I sure hope you do get a nice steady thaw…all at once would create a flood.

We’ve had some fluffed up birdies, too. I watched a Robin digging for food in the side yard, yesterday.
Are you staying warm, Mama? My Texas friends are struggling.
