We are working in wind again. A Hostile wind full of dirt and debris
The wind buffets everything. And the HEAT—a huge part of the wind blisters all who are out it in. (Often times followed by a cool front that is downright cold)
Erratic violence.
which panics the little birds snatching them, by force, and flinging them here and there.
It’s been a strange, strange Spring full of amazing, sometimes scary, wind.

We’ve got the crazy winds now too but have had them off and on all winter, spring and now summer! The weather is just weird and slowed our hay making to a stop!!!

Can’t believe all the wind you guys have had – strange.
Yes, it’s been wierd all around the west. Mother Nature must be testing out another round of terrible twos.

We heard that this is a thought all the wind generators are changing the air patterns. I wonder if it is true.

We haven’t had the wind you’ve had, but we’ve definitely had strange weather. Right now we’re in the midst of a heat wave with “feels like” temperatures at or over the 100° mark, which is very unusual for us any time of the year.

I think our horrid heat made it to you. We had a small cool down, but the heat is back today. 101*

Java Bean: “Ay, yes, we already had a wildfire pop up here only a couple of miles away. It got to 80 acres before they stopped it. We watched the plume of smoke all day on Saturday. The others said it’s the closest a fire has ever come to the house.”
Charlee: “It was! Fortunately the wind was blowing it parallel to us instead of straight at us, so we didn’t run away from it like we did with the Lilac Fire several years ago.”
