“It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.”–Paulo Coelho
The sun was just right…shining heavily in the west
When I noticed the absolute stillness of the herb garden
And the busy, busy, brisk, buzzing of a very wonderful bumble bee
As I stood still in this small enchanted place
I realized, sometimes sanctuary,
Is made up of peaceful sounds, the trilling of happy birds, a slight breeze,
and Color.
Creating an enchanting little place free from all the problems of other people; sharing in the obscure tiny lives of tiny little souls who live there.
From my world to your heart,
Linda
I haven’t been active for years in here but I get notifications and sometimes I open and read. I’m glad I did today Linda because this was right up my alley and a thought from a kindred soul.
We have our moments of sanctuary, of peace and sense of belonging. We need them. Thank you!

Love your hollyhocks! I can’t grow them very well here, too hot and humid. My favourites are the very dark red, almost black ones.

I keep looking for those but haven’t come across any yet. But I’m sure I will in time 🙂
