I love spring flowers too. not as fond of the humble weeds, but Dallyn and Kira are. They love to pick the little yellow flowers and bring the inside so we can all enjoy them.
When I was a kid we couldn’t bring them inside because my Dad was so allergic to them, so my Mom told us, “I like it when you leave them outside on the porch. Then everyone can see how much my kids love me.” It was a while before I knew the real reason as to why we couldn’t bring them inside. She was a sneaky one some days. *smile*
