Then we drove the ‘short’ road to Grand Junction, which really isn’t, BECAUSE of Douglas Pass!  What a curvy, open-range, poorly paved road.

I can see why people just don’t go that way unless they just have too.

But along the way we saw a beautiful little momma deer and her twins!
