Work begins at dawn. There are animals to feed, water to fill, wood to haul, stuff to get done BEFORE getting ready for the town job.
This is dawn (daylight savings time, October 31, 2008), right out our backdoor, just as we are heading out to do morning chores.

Beautiful pics…I love seeing life through your eyes, farm life in Colorado.
Blessings to you this weekend, especially as we start a new month.

That’s a gorgeous sunrise. Whew that makes me tired just looking at this pic and thinking I had to go out that early in the winter. Ever since I had chemo I absolutely freeze in the winter time .

Alas, I’m not looking forward to the time change but early morning chores will be easier with a little more light here too.

It’s so beautiful but I’m already shivering thinking about those cold mornings and the farm chores to be done.
