After finishing one field, and starting another field, the combine had a blow out. One reason Terry had 5 combines is one (and maybe two) is for parts.
But there was still enough light to continue the harvest. Besides Terry has lights on the combine and on the truck, but daylight is better.
Bladen wanted to help combine (which means ride).
Then it was time for Grammy to take Bladen back to his Momma and Daddy so he could eat supper.

What little boy wouldn’t want to ride with Grandpa…so fun. Hey, girls too. I probably would have loved it as a little kid. (o:

That looks like a huge, time consuming job! I’m glad that you could keep going after a breakdown. I bet you will be glad when it’s all done 🙂
I’ve tagged you for a meme on my blog 🙂

Hi there, Great pics of the work of your hubby-such valuable and hard work that it is. I so appreciate those who toil in the soil because I know their job is long and hard. Loved seeing pics of CO. that I haven’t gotten to yet. We’re northeast of you and haven’t ventured to the other side of Denver, maybe this spring.
Bless your week.

HI! I just found your blog from Linda’s blog (Just Another Day on the Prairie). My Farmer was interested in your older JD combine photos. I think all little boys love to help combine.
If you come by my blog, be sure to say hi.
