Evening Chores

paonia-mountains

By the time I get home in the evening the sun is starting to set.

These are the Paonia Mountains and the Ragged Mountains looking across the lower hayfield behind our house.

This is what the sky looks like when we get done and go in for the night. And it isn’t the middle of winter yet.

  1. Thanks for stopping over Linda!!! Yes we do head cheese, BUT I have never made it on my own. Its so differant than the store bought head cheese – ours is not so ‘gelatinous’LOL…. Hope to see you at my place again, cuz I will be back here for sure! 🙂

  2. Linda, thanks so much for popping in to visit me on our farm all the way in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Wow, you also live in a beautiful spot & the views of your mountain/s from your farm are also incredible ! I’ll be back for another visit soon !
    Bye for now

  3. Linda, This looked like our sunset the last two nights-we have so much to be thankful for. Your view was breath taking-probably because there are no houses crowding it out. Enjoy the beauty of His sky.

  4. Linda, these are beautiful photographs! I love having the mountains in the distance where I live. We don’t have that now, but that is my dream…

  5. I used to live in Colorado, just for a year before moving back to Tennessee and then here to Michigan. I was trying to look up chicken laws in Colorado and I get conflicting info. My sister lives in Westminster and chickens are only allowed in designated agricultural areas there and Denver it is either allowed or not, different sources say different things…which Colorado Springs is allowed. Do you have any info on where its allowed in Colorado?
