Clifton to Delta in a Combine

Finally I was able to get the photos off my phone and onto the computer.

Instead of putting all the pictures onto this blog I am just showing you Terry fueling up, getting ready to leave Clifton.

And the scary drive down the main four-lane highway to Delta.  Here a semi is passing the combine.  Terry is on the shoulder…

The combine is large but driving on the highway with a semi next to it makes the combine look like a baby.

  1. Semi trucks make me nervous anyway, let alone ones loaded down with huge loads of logs! Glad the trip is over and you all made it back safely! Thank you for your nice comment about my soap on my blog today! It looks so much better in person, I don’t know why but my camera takes horrible indoor photos and it made it look really alien yellow for some reason! LOL. It is more of a cream color in real life! Hope you are getting a little bit of a break in the temps there!

  2. You sound like you have to do things to help your hubby like I do. I had to go get hubby the other day, he called and said ,come get me I think I broke my leg! I about freaked out.He didn’t, thank God, but he sure has pulled something.
Your new combine will make work a whole lot easier for hubby now.Sometimes I get so disgusted, life seems to keep getting harder around here.
I am glad you got that combine home, people are so disrespectful !

  4. This made me homesick. I remember when we would “road the Cat” – when we would move the big Caterpillar (D-6 or something like that) to some leased ground and we’d have to drive down the two-lane road. Luckily not a big ole freeway! YIKES.

Found you at Trapper Creek. Glad I did.
