Going to Grammy and Grandpa’s House

Went I got home yesterday afternoon Fuzzy started barking his “Somebody’s Coming Bark”, which quickly changed into “Oh, good, You are coming I am so glad” bark.

down-the-lane

When I went to look  I saw the little family coming our way, with Linkin on her bike (she absolutely HATES riding her bike, she is just sure she is going to wreck in the gravel).

Bladen was walking Hoolie, so she could learn to walk on a leash

But Tallen thought her ride was just a-okay.

And Checkers was really glad to see Fuzzy and us.

Checkers has a weird way of greeting people, she tries to smile. It can be a bit off-putting until you realize her stub-tail is wagging and she is trying to do the puppy-dance.

  1. My six year old freaked out about riding without training wheels…then her four year old sister did just fine …so she decided she would. I must admit, she still can howl when she thinks she is falling (o: Had a dog that looked like that….his name was Prince. He did not smile like that.

  2. I am SO sorry to be so very tardy in thanking you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. It meant a lot.

I LOVE these photos and the wide, open space. Oh, I wish I was riding right down that lane with my kids, too. That’s just good for the soul to see that!

    Blessings!

  4. Hi Linda, What great pic’s-love seeing the grandkids as well as the puppy. How wonderful to have the open spaces as your backyard. Hopefully you are getting sunshine with little wind today and no fires.
It is beautiful here, I’m now officially tired of brown and ready for spring.
    Hugs to you this day.

  5. Checkers is cute (I love borders and aussies as I have 2 aussies)… my aussie Trixie always smiles too. Once some small children told me that she was growling at them 😉 and of course I assured them she was just trying to smile. Thanks for commenting on my blog, I’ve enjoyed reading thru yours and will be following!
