I Guess I Might as Well Enjoy the Rain

 Rain and the sunset

The sun as it was setting made the clouds the most amazing color and on top of that

a Rainbow!!!!

The weeds are super healthy, but so is everything else.

  1. Oh…it looks very good to me. When I was at camp last week it rained up there every single day. I was in complete heaven. Course I didn’t have crops I was trying to get in. I remember how farmers/ranchers can have too much rain. If I could move out of here, I’d go wherever it rains.

  2. Hi Linda

Yes I am sure that I can see paw-paws, mangoes and coconuts trees appearing in your garden and in
the corn field – yes the tropics have come to Colorado! Next will be rain for a month, non-stop, then the
mildew and the malaria carrying mosquitoes! Maybe those foot prints were made by an orang-outang
which was just “casing” your area for suitable habitate????
Certainly never a dull moment for the Coloradians (??) – hope that is the correct spelling for the
residents of the soon-to-be tropical paradise!
Gordon MacRae would get lost on his horse in your corn fields – the people of Oklahoma will be green
    with envy!
Cheers – and just think of all this as a change of life ( ha ha!)

  3. Believe it or not but our potted herbs are doing wonderful. The basil is going crazy. I’m in heaven. No weeds. We placed our tomato plants next to this six foot sapling. The tomatoes have grown up almost over the tree. They are not blooming because it is too hot but in the fall they will. Plus they will be over the tree. I wonder what the apt. managers will say?

  4. That sky picture was great. My weeds are still healthy too! So, is the rest of the garden. I just finished putting up 27 more pints of pickles yesterday.

  5. What beautiful sunsets! And more rainbows! Wouldn’t you know, the day after I commented here that,” We don’t see too many of those..”, we had an afternoon storm, and a RAINBOW! Made my day…

Thanks again for sharing your part of the world with the rest of us!

  6. I love your photos. Especially that beautiful rainbow! No rain here and the coming week is bringing triple digit weather and humidity. I am praying it ends soon and fall will bring us cool weather and rain for the animals and gardens.

  7. Great shots. We are finally getting the much needed rain we need for our pastures. I am not ready to feed horses all year long although we pretty much have…so far.
