I am just tired of winter…
for the first year I can remember..I just do NOT want to go through it. Well…duh…I’d rather go through it that not be here (o: but Florida sounds good (o: You know I could not be away from the Grand kids all winter..so I will just suck it up.
Oh and by the way… I just had a reminder from self…at least I don’t do any chores out in the weather like you do…or drive to work in it since I work at home. Good reminder to self (o:
Us too!!!! Started falling last night, off and on. Just enough to cover everything with about a quarter inch. The roads were simply ice covered. Glad I don’t go anywhere. 🙂
It’s going to get cold here on Friday. 77 degrees. I KNOW! I’ll have to turn off the air conditioning. I’m sorry I just had to rub it in. We have such awful summers that I have to get in that it is nice around here sometimes.
Hi Linda, And to think—it was almost 75 degrees here today. We had tons of wind and some rain –but luckily, nothing severe. There were tornadoes around though… We got lucky….
SNOW–for you???? Yipes…. Winter is coming!!!! Did you get your corn done??? I know you were waiting on it to dry out… Your weather certainly hasn’t cooperated for you, has it?????
Enjoy your fire tonight…. Hopefully, the snow didn’t last long this time.
Hugs,
Betsy
Oh, brrrrrr!! No snow here, but we got down to 33 the last two mornings. I’m not necessarily looking forward to the cold of winter, but have lots of firewood from the Boys Scouts (2 cords). I’m looking into an insert for my fireplace so I can get more of the heat into the room rather then up the chimney!
There has been snow in the North of Scotland, but hopefully we won’t see it any time soon! After the hard frost on Monday, yesterday and today have been much milder. However, we just don’t get the long winters that some of America does – which is just as well, or I would have to emigrate!!
Snowed here last night, but most of it is gone this a.m. The wind is icy and takes the temps down to bitter. DH built the first fire of the cold season today. Guess there is no getting around it. Winter is staring us in the face.
I’m ready for our first snow 🙂

You have my permission to keep the snow out there — I’m not ready to face that white stuff yet, although the fire sounds nice.
