We are very cold here. Lots of people are experiencing broken pipes and huge heating bills.
It was -11* when I drove into to work this morning with the windchill factor.
We have snow, but not enough to insulate things. Still the morning sunrise was pretty in a pink/blue and yellow sort of way.

Brrrrr thats cold, we have been cold but not brutal! As the husband says though it is just the month of January. Seems like we can’t keep the house warm, with the wind blowing all the time it sure feels colder than it actually is.

I feel for you and everyone else in that kind of cold. We are very cold for Georgia right now – but not THAT cold. Snow/ice on the ground… is pretty, but can’t go anywhere cuz we can’t get out of the driveway! Hope you stay warm. Will send toasty thoughts your way.

I hate the cold but can tolerate it better than the snow. We are supposed to get “between 3 – 7 inches” inches tomorrow. Wish the weatherpeople could make up their mind. Big difference between 3 and 7. Hope it warms up there. That is cold!!!

I hear you. We were at 5, still air, yesterday morning. Not quite so bad since then, but so many of us are in a deep freeze.
I’m done! Time for a long winter vacation on an island in the south seas!

We’re a little colder here -22 c right now hmm let’s see what is that in proper english, I stand corrected you are colder it is only 8 below F Wow I feel so much better now, ever since we switched to celsius we are being trained to believe it really is colder. I’m feeling downright balmy. Oh yeah Pondering your problem, I don’t know what you guys call them but here they are used as Rodent protectors. They are white and plastic they will stretch out to fit your trees you wrap them around the trunk, they are about 2.5 – 3 feet long once they are streched out. When the deer come to scratch they can’t do a whole lot of damage to the tree and you also deter mice, rabbits or whatever other critters you have that might come for snacks or other activity. Loosen them off every Spring so they don’t girdle your trees and wahlah problem solved.

We’re looking at -25 tonight, and a high of 7 tomorrow. Can’t bundle up enough for that. Lots of covers on kiddos tonight & planning on staying in all day tomorrow.
Stay warm! Do you burn wood?

Brrrrr Linda… I’m complaining about OUR cold and we are having a ‘heat wave’ compared to you… BUT–they showed your temps on TV tonight –and said that we are going to get some of that cold this week…
Please be careful—and try to stay WARM.

Only -11..still pretty warm by Minnesota standards ..snow cover really helps keep things from freezing like water pipes and sewer lines. Your sunrise is very pretty..I hope you stay warm:)

Was -1* here this morning! Not a record but pretty close. Yesterday afternoon it was 20 with a strong north wind, bitter cold! No snow or any kind of moisture, tho. Could use it. Take care…pretty picture.
Blessings!

We’re not quite as cold as you are, but it has been several days since we’ve seen the sun. We still have snow flurries blowing around. I get cold just looking out the window.
