Back From the Car Show

Well, no outrageously expensive car drove down our driveway late, late Saturday night, which is just what I expected.  But lots of photos of ideas, and a tee shirt did come back.

Friday night I had the cow waterer break, but that was my only real problem adventure.

( I think he forgot to smile…this is like the truck he is building)

The dogs and I walked the place Saturday.  It was cold and the wind was blowing, but they found lots of news out there.

All the fences looked good.  The snow is mostly gone.  We are still cold dropping to 18* at night, but nothing like others are experiencing.

We have sun today…and that ALWAYS makes me feel good.

  1. Sunshine in the winter is never a bad thing. I’m glad to hear that Terry didn’t come home with anything new (or new for him). That is one of my biggest fears when JR comes home from car shows.

  2. I am liking that Green truck! T probably didn’t smile because he wanted you to think he didn’t have that much fun… HA!
I love walking our road and the place with the dogs when it’s still cool…
    Life is good…

  3. Aaaaaaaaah – bad luck. The Rolls Royce Cornishe V Convertible would have looked good
with you driving it around Paonia! Maybe next trip to Scottsdale.
Good to see that the snow has for the time being disappeared.

  4. Loved what Cully said – “he didn’t smile cuz he wanted you to think he didn’t have that much fun”. Cute. Boy it sure does look cold up your way… Brrrrr. We’re having not to shabby cool temps, a light snow, but overall not bad. I liked your post, too, on neighbors and working together. Wish it was still that way…. Hope you warm up soon!

Yesterday we awoke to -15*. Today there was a “warm” breeze of 34*!! We had a small glimpse of what spring will be like!! Loved it.
Cant wait to see something other than our white world!

  6. It must be nice to see the ground without that covering of snow. I’m glad you have your husband back home, and it will be interesting to see what he does with the ideas he picked up at the show.

  7. Thanks for sharing your blog with photos.
I just moved to Colorado 9 months ago from a very wet, damp, rainy NW (Oregon) – it’s my first winter here and I cannot believe how much SUN we get here in CO!
So, I am all nods with you in terms of how the sunshine this winter always makes me happy. True indeed!

    Best wishes,
    RaVen
