  1. A four row corn picker! My old father in law from Iowa had a three row picker that I got to drive years ago. I think it was an Allis-Chalmers but I can’t say for sure, but it wasn’t a John Deere cause it wasn’t green. Driving a corn picker is not as easy as it seems. He also had a John Deere harvester for picking soy beans, but I never got to drive that one. Mostly I got to drive the tractors hauling wagons out to be filled up with beans and then taking them, four or five at a time behind the tractor, into town to the elevator. Had a lot of fun on a couple of vacations back then before he quit farming.
