Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
We have reached the place whereby all our gardens are now put to rest,
the freezers are filled and the cellars full,
firewood is stacked in huge piles by the door
as the fire heats the house in a warm cherry glow.
Although, this year has brought tragedies untold,
It has also brought friends through the internet bold,
I thank you all both near and far for the magic of Friendship
Is a one of life’s great blessings on this busy little farm!

I too appreciate hearing about your life in CO so different from the midwest. It has not been the best of years here (broken femur with complications) either but I always think of new beginnings when the new year arrives. I hope you and your family are looking forward to better times. I don’t understand why when things happen there is usually a string of them. Our wood is stacked and our freezers full too and we are thankful.
