Lulu: “We get bee swarms through here sometimes! They usually don’t stay long. Once Dada was outside mowing the lawn and some bugs kept headbutting him and he finally noticed they were bees from a passing swarm giving him a warning before they stung. Boy did he come in the house fast then!”

Bees in swarms never sting. It’s an amazing thing

🐝Were they living in the tree branch? It’s always a mystery when they up and leave ~ It will be interesting to see if they come back.

They never come back. They gather and then leave for somewhere, but not back here.

They were living in that tree. We call it the bee tree, Bees have lived there for over 60 years

So true. I’m still hoping to find a swarm from Stella’s bees somewhere this spring.
