I’m not sure if I am glad or sad about the possibility of a freeze tonight! My biggest worry is getting my tropical’s cut back and safely tucked into the basement for their long winter’s nap.
Of course I work and there is just so much daylight at the end of the day….. I guess I will throw a sheet over the ones I don’t get trimmed, and repotted, then hope to get them taken care of tomorrow.
Life on a Colorado Farm 
Blessings to you this Monday, As I read your post I smiled for today dear hubby and I drove to Walmart in Loveland and saw snow up in the high places-near Longs Peak. This is our first autumn here and it does seem a tad early for me. However, after reading your post I wonder if hubby should move his two Colorado Japenese Maples downstairs-he lost three beautiful ones we brought with us. Thanks for this post-I think I’ll have him check our local weather and take steps to protect them.

Ahhhh! freezing temps. I remember them well. If we want cold we go to Flagstaff. It does the trick.

freeze has fallen here too… Amazingly I feel ready for it. I suppose because we have settled back into school, and that keeps our days full, I can’t mourn missing out on beautiful days outside. Of course you may link to me Linda, I would be honored. I started preparing a “guestbook” of friends and visitors to link in my sidebar as well. It should be up in a day or so.

Linda, hi–you have a lovely blog! I’m not familiar with the wordpress blogs so I assume I can’t add you on my “Friends” list but will have to add you as an online link. I think the reason you are having trouble is because you are using my Mom’s website info. Mine is http://daughterm.blogspot.com, or I guess as a website would come up as http://daughterm-The Tile Lady. She and I are using the same computer right now and that may be why there is some confusion. We always log on though with our own blog name. Anyway, enjoyed looking at your blog this evening! I couldn’t figure out before why the tech college came up when I clicked on your name when you made a comment on my post. Take care! Hope this clears up the confusion.

It is hard to think about a freeze here. It has been so hot this week, in the high 80’s. The good news is..we are having a drizzle of rain right now. This is after weeks and weeks of no rain.
