Last year the main water line to our house broke, leaving us with a $500 water bill and a huge job to fix. Ever since that time Terry has been worrying about the water line to corral breaking….so before it could….
He hired our neighbor and his backhoe to come fix it.
What.A.Job!
First he had to move the carport. He did this all by himself, with pipes and the trailer. Since I was at work I didn’t see him do it (or help him) but when I got home, there it was-balancing on the trailer.

Terry had laid the pipe

Moved the carport back into place

was just getting ready to cover the trenches up

but the sun was setting.

I guess you know what Terry is doing today while I am at work!
Linda,
what a job. We did that not to long ago taking water to the new barn. How did he get that carport to balance like that?

We finally got a little snow today, not much but every inch helps to keep the frost from going down further to affect the water lines. Those of us that live in the country have different worries than other folks. Backhoes, saves alot of work! 🙂

Oh, you have my sympathies. Mine did the same thing last year and my water bill was a little more than yours. I just about had a heart attack. We fixed the line with pex pipe that’s never supposed to break. It’s a lot of work getting that done. I enjoyed all the pictures.

Oh yes, that all looks so familiar. We always have something dug up, moved over, dug up around here.
I know you both will be proud to have it finished.
Have a good day.

Oh my gosh ! That water bill reminded me of my electric bill last year when something happened to the heat pump.Got a $411.00 bill.I came un glued ! Now it makes me paranoid when the heat runs a long time.
That man of yours sure is a worker !
