Too much rain this year….some is nice, but we don’t need it every day.

Yeah, poured all night. The spud farmers are in knots with worry about what the long weeks of cold and wet are doing to their plantings.

I would take every drop from those that don’t like it. I miss it so much. *sigh*

Funny thing with rain, isn’t it? When you don’t have any for some time you really want some then when it comes after a short while you’re sick of it. Must be hard being a farmer.

Hi Linda. Came to your blog via The Leener. I farm in Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales – nice to meet another farmer. Pop over and see me sometime.

We are monsooned here as well. However, I’m guessing we are better able to handle the extra rain? More used to it or something? What is your normal yearly rainfall?

I’m feelin’ your pain because of rain!! We’ve had nothing but rain and tornadoes for two weeks. Blah.
I found your blog through Prairie Chick’s blog. I noticed you were in Delta. I grew up in Montrose, so I’m naturally curious. I still live in Colorado, but am out on the prairie lands now, hence the title of my blog. 🙂
Nice to see someone from home. Will follow your blog.
