We had another neat experience, blog related! Jim and Brenda drove 4 hours to see us and pick up a load of hay! After a simple lunch and a couple of hours of fun conversation they were back on the road again.
Getting to know our blogging friends sure is nice!
enjoying getting to know you and hoping you like me 🙂
not sitting by Fish creek flowing between full house of guests , horsekeeping, on on !

What a great blog entry and the name.” Getting to Know You (Oscar Hammerstein) “. One can only imagine, Gordon MacRae, appearing from the crop behind and singing his head off!
Linda: What is a “simple Colorado lunch”? I bet it was great. Beautiful fresh corn for starters? Succulent Angus Aberdeen steaks! Oh the mouth just waters!
Cheers

I agree, it is fun! I´ve only done it twice, but it´s amazing how we just click, as if we´ve known each other for a long time!

And we left the house that morning without our camera! I was going to bring it but forgot to set it in the pile of things to take on Friday night when I was getting everything else ready to go. Lunch was delicious and yes, included some awesome sweet corn and the watermelon was fabulous! And would you call it a quiche or a baked omelet? Whatever you call it, it was also delicious. The company was engaging and delightful – we had a fabulous day. This was my first blogging “meet and greet” and we thoroughly enjoy it. Wish we could have stayed in the area for longer but we had critters at home that needed tending so we had to get back. Thank you Linda and Terry for a wonderful day.

Hey, I know that song! I love all the old musicals. In fact, that how I learned how to spell Oklahoma! How fun that you got to meet up with another blogger! I’ve seen all sorts of posts about bloggers getting together, anything from just arranging to meet all the way to big functions where hundreds of bloggers gather. I’m worried if anyone would meet me, it would kinda be a let-down! I’ll just keep the mystery going! 🙂 Now I’m off to hum songs from musicals while I get my chores done!
