With the horrible fires in California and the one on the Uncompahgre Plateau, we are experiencing lots and lots of smoke in the air.
Although, the sunrises are beautiful, how it came to be is horrifyingly sad.

Wow! I didn’t realize the smoke from the fires got that far. They hope to contain our Auburn-49’er fire today. I sure hope so, but the wind started up again. The smoke sure does make for a lovely sunrise though. I’m looking forward to visiting your blog and learning more about farm life today.

The moon was orange here last night. We often get smoke from CA here in Idaho when the fires are big.

Its amazing to me how far the smoke and debris travels! NC had really bad fires 2 years ago and where I live in VA was covered in a blanket of smokey air for weeks. I hope the fires die down and the air clears soon.

The smoke has cleared out at our area but So Cal is miserable. But it makes for some spectacular sunsets!!

I was in Arizona once when the big fires were burning and the air was just so horrible. Those poor people in California.
