That doesn’t look very pleasant to be travelling on. Hope the thaw comes quickly and doesn’t result in too much “muck” – yuk, yuk!
Noticed that correspondent, “Jody Blue” mentions ‘heating bills’ – I had completely forgotten about that aspect, I would have thought that you would all have wood fires throughout your homes as shown in some photos – all homes having plenty of chimneys???
I will see your icey roads and throw in a 1/2 mile of road that’s like chocolate pudding and just as slippery as ice! Our snow and rain has finally stopped and the ‘sun’ has just come out! I’ll share it with you! Take care on those roads, my friend.
I would guess you have lots of company in this dream! Even though we still get blue skies and sun, it’s been cold lately. We got dumped on last week with a bunch of snow, which finally melted yesterday and today because we’ve been getting RAIN, so now we’re living in south central MUDHOLE Kansas. Where oh where is June?!
Oh, I sure do to! I find myself not feeling like doing much of anything with the grey skies, and snow and just plain drab. It is nice when the sun shines but the cold I am ready to get rid of. I love winter for the first couple of months, but I miss the warmth and green.
….and I´m dreaming of some of those cloudy dreary days, with drizzle rain, cool temp´s and WET roads! 🙂 ….I think I´ve totally forgotten what a jacket looks like!
I’m actually okay being still in winter mode. I love spring, but oh the work that comes with it. We have snow, then rain, then more snow predicted for the next 36 hours. That oughta make a mess. Sigh.

It is a rarity to even see a chimney here.
