The corn is looking good! The old saying is ‘knee-high by the 4th of July’ and you know the corn is going to produce!
Thanks to everyone who posted comments while my internet was messed up. I have a new signal thinge so I can do emails from home or work again. YEA!
I’m so far behind now, I’m not sure if I can get caught up. But I plan on visiting everyone’s blog starting today!
Linda

My dad always used that analogy too. Most of the corn here is as tall as yours. The corn is loving the humidity…….unlike the humans.

Hi Linda
Looks like welcome to “Rodgers and Hammerstein” land? Terry should be on a horse and you sitting
mighty decorously in the surrey with the fringe on top!
Looks like all the hard work with the corn fields have paid dividend – congratulations.
Cheers

Hi Linda, Welcome back to the world of being on the internet…. We missed you—but it happens to all of us on occasion.
Your corn looks really healthy….. I hope you are pleased –since it looks like it will produce a really good crop….
Even though I was not raised on or near a farm, I have heard that saying all of my life: “Knee High by the 4th of July”….
Hugs,
Betsy

Yes…I went into a rousing song from Oklahoma, too. I love to see corn growing.

That was the standard that I grew up with. Your corn looks very healthy. What about the sweet corn? Inquiring minds need to know that.

Yay for the great field of corn! That’s way more than knee high. Hope all goes well –and all the bad stuff that could happen that I won’t mention so as not to put any back luck on you–stays away. Corn barely makes it to knee high around here by The Fourth. Too high for such crops and this year things are behind almost two weeks because of cold.
Yay also for your new connection.
