As I left for work (Paonia) at 6:30 this morning I was struck by the beauty of the morning and the low lying full moon
It had been raining for two days so the air had a fresh feel about it. It felt like a perfect day.
And it has turned out to be one. I made it to and from without a hitch, not even having to stop for the road construction. The 2010 Coal Conference we were hosting turned out even better than anyone could have imagined; with 100 people in attendance.
The morning moon started my day out just right so I had to share it with you!

I love being up early enough to see the full moon go down. You captured the moment beautifully. Amazing that you were able to travel and not have to deal with construction. I appreciate the hard work those workers do, but sometimes they sure get in the way.

Beautiful picture. I read recently that this was the first time a full moon fell on the 1st day of Fall, since 1991.

Love that moon
I love full moons…but often miss them because you can’t see them from my house. I have to remember to walk to the end of the block or get in the car and drive a ways…all week end we saw a great moon from the camper….loved it.
